Most of the system administrators, especially those who manage server infrastructure remotely will be connecting to different windows servers on a day to day basis. Connecting to individual servers through terminal sessions will be time consuming and keeping a track of connected servers will also be troublesome. There is an easy way to avoid this situation. Microsoft is providing a remote desktop connection manager tool which we can download from Microsoft website and install it on your office laptop or management systems and configure your remote servers in that.
You can download it here Remote Desktop Connection Manager
Once you have downloaded and the software is installed, you can add your servers in to it
.
In this article, we would like to explore an option to add multiple servers at the same time, which will help you to save time.
Open Remote Desktop connection manager, and click Edit and select "Add Group" option to create a server group name.
Once the group is created, click "Import servers" option from the edit menu
After selecting the "import servers" option, click server settings and enter all the server IPs which you want to configure at once, exactly as mentioned in the screenshot below.
Once the IPs are keyed in, now it is time to enter the logon credentials for the servers. Enter the domain credential if you are using domain based authentication. This import server option is useful only when you use AD based authentication.
you can also change desktop resolution and clipboard settings etc. Here we will change desktop resolution now. you may perform the same as mentioned in the screenshot.
If you are OK with what you did, click import and all servers will be added to the server group which you have created .You should be able see them under the server group.
That't it for now.!
That's great information. Thanks for sharing this blog. I did a search and found your blog and glowing review. It's been a big help! Thanx for sharing.

RDCMan from Microsoft was taken down because of a security problem . Passwords could be exposed and taken. Attackers could exploit the bug that's tracked as CVE-2020-0765. I think it was fixed not to long ago and re-released. Not a perfect match to RDCMan but has some advantages the foremost being that No installation is required. Remote Desktop Administration with a Browser let's you manage RDP connections online with just a browser. The list of RDP connections could be for one admin or a whole group like an IT department to use and share. Most often they connect to the same servers like domain controllers or file servers. I like it because I often move form computer to computer and I don't need to install anything to have a list of servers with me to connect to using RDP all the time.
